Summer Fun

As summer is coming to a close for my baby girl I thought I would blog a post for her and our summer together! Just a few pictures :) This summer has been an interesting summer! A  lot of new things and a lot of challenges but overall a great summer and one that I will never forget. One fun addition to this summer has been the amazing man that I have been dating. He really is a rock for me at times. I love him... :) And I'm happy to say that we have been dating since February so I know that this is not just a summer fling! Haha :)

When life gets ya...

I hear a lot of people talk about life lately. How life is up, or life is down but my constant question is where is your heart through it all? A question I ask because I am constantly having to check my own. When life gets me down am I still giving my thanksgiving and praise to God? Or am I so weary and put down that I wallow in my own pit? God says to stick with Him and He will stick with me...

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those

who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who

seek You. (Psalm 9:9-10)

His word says He has never forsaken those who seek Him. Over and over again in His word we read that He tells us to seek Him. To seek Him and he will give us the desires of our hearts. To seek Him in trouble. I know it's so easy to say the words, just seek God in times of trouble to calm your heart and your spirit, but in action is where it gets to be hard but let me tell you something. It starts with having a relationship with the Lord Jesus. But like all relationships they have to be built.
